Background

Hans Lutterus practised extensively in all areas of insurance work, with special emphasis on liability and personal injury claims.

Hans has extensive experience in advising insurance companies in relation to policies of insurance, as well as all aspects of claims, and appearing as Counsel in the Magistrates, Industrial, District, Supreme and High Courts.

He acts for a number of large insurance companies, primarily in the areas of general liability and personal injury.

More recently he has acted on behalf of insurers and companies in defence of claims issued pursuant to the Dust Diseases Act 2005.

Involvement in major commercial and insurance litigation has created an impressive track record of success for Hans and his clients.
